Ruben Furcayg knew at 14 years of age that his future lay in electronics, and he enrolled in New York's Samuel Gompers Technical High School. After further study at the RCA Institute, Ruben opened a television repair business. Since the 1970s, he has sold security equipment and managed sales for such companies as Nutone, Elbex, Koyo, and Ikegami. He was also the founder and president of Graystone Systems, Inc.
In 1992, he formed Ruben&Company as a multi-line sales agency serving the security and electronics industries.
In 2000, Ruben became an independent managing director for Ikegami, supervising their sales force in the United States and South America.
